Kansas City’s favorite son Sean Malto smoothly powered his way into the number 3 qualifying spot and Seattle tour stop winner Nyjah Huston dominated, taking the number 1 qualifying spot in Saturday’s action. Chris Cole snagged the number 2 spot with his typical power moves to round out the top 3. The Kansas City course built by Joe C and CA Skateparks significantly upped the level of skating by providing challenging and creative features for the world’s best skateboarders. 9 Skaters advanced to Sunday’s finals. They will battle it out for the top spots along with the winner of Sunday’s last chance qualifier.
