The Nike US Open of Surfing will be returning to the shoreline of Huntington Beach, California for another year starting July 26-August 5! Surf, skate, BMX, and live music will be stationed among 14 acres of sand for spectators to enjoy. This year CA Skateparks will be building the entire street course. With help on design from CA Rampworks, the complete build will take approximately two weeks to finish. CA Skateparks will be shooting a total of 4,741 square feet of concrete for the park that is too be stationed on the beach. “The US Open of Surfing is the epicenter for action sports culture. This year we will introduce the biggest stadium in surf and largest skate contest on the beach as the top action sports athletes, art and music talent hit the sand in Huntington,” said Sandy Bodecker, VP Nike Action Sports from the US Open Website.
