We Go Big With Nike for Go Skateboarding Day 2015

We helped Nike SB go big again this year for Go Skateboarding Day from LA to NY!

At the Santa Monica Courthouse in West Los Angeles a large crowd showed up to skate with the Nike team consisting of Eric Koston, Shane O’Neil, Blake Carpenter, Nick Boserio, Carlos Ribeiro, Sean Malto and more. After the demo Nike unveiled the fountain we remodeled to be skate-able, which was a 90’s feature of the courthouse before being filled in over a decade and more ago.We brought it back  now it’s back and even has slanted walls on the inside, “So it’s easier to get out of,” claimed Eric Koston. The day was filled with young and old rippers having fun skating a legendary spot with legendary pros.

For NYC we all started at the Coleman LES park for a big skate jam and the TransWorld Best Trick down the stairs and rail. Then it was time for the whole skatepark to head over the Williamsburg Bridge. As you can imagine, traffic was stopped, the onlookers were baffled filming with their iPhones, and we all barged down the streets of Brooklyn to the new Nike SB pop up park we built at 50 Kent. This park will be around all summer until Labor Day! After a big open skate, the Nike SB team took the course for a demo. AO, Ishod, BA, Daryl Angel, Bobby Worrest, Antonio Durao, Cyrus Bennett, special guest Justin Strubing, and more killed it in the New York heat. After the demo, the public was allowed back on the course and skated until the rain came in.
