Panama gets to enjoy their first, state-of-the-art skate park; the first of its kind in Central America. Hundreds of kids attended the Grand Opening – including the President of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli. The all–concrete skate park features a street plaza complete with an array of stair sets with handrails and hubbas, a-frame rails and ledges, and a variety of other obstacles that surround an amazing flow bowl; all painted red and blue to pay tribute to the country’s flag. The skate park is an estimated 20,000 square feet and is located at Cinta Costera Park, which is right on the water in Panama City, making for an even more picturesque setting. California Skateparks is happy to have had the opportunity to design and oversee construction of this amazing project.
