California Skateparks stays in close contact with our clients and the skatepark designer throughout the construction process to address problems with the design or the site, modify construction details or design elements and value engineer the project to reduce costs.
Our field superintendents are in constant contact with our construction managers and use the information we gather from the job site inspections to provide support to the municipalities, contractors, sub-consultants and construction crews that need assistance. Or management team inspects the skateparks construction and is available at all times to answer questions, provide technical support, assist with ASI’s (Architectural supplemental instructions), RFI’s (requests for information) and change orders to guarantee that the skate park is built with the utmost quality using the best methodology and techniques.
Quality control is the key to a flawless skate park. We work with many different General Contactors all over the country and help oversee their work to make sure it meets our industry standards. When complex features are being constructed, concrete is being poured or shotcrete is being applied and finishers are shaping and finishing sculptural areas of the skatepark, our construction managers are on site to assist the crew with the design intent.
