Bill Minadeo of California Skateparks had the chance to hang out at Pier 62 Skate Park with Tony Hawk and friends last week. Pier 62 is scheduled to open this summer at Hudson River Park in New York. The Pier 62 Skate Park at Hudson River Park in New York is coming along nicely. The entire skate park is built on top of a pier using structural foam to create the shapes and forms that are typically sculpted in the earth. This unique project is the first of its kind.
