Hollenbeck! This park is a 14,000 square-foot, tri-level street skate plaza, which is already considered one of the premier skate plazas in the entire nation.  Hollenbeck is the second addition to the “Safe Spot Skate Spot” family started by Rob Dyrdek, the first was Lafayette Park. Rob has plans to add three more parks to the “Safe Spot Skate Spot” family and California Skateparks is excited to get started.  Watch the video of some very technical skaters throwing some amazing combination’s of tricks and stay posted for info on the upcoming parks.



Thrasher, Girl and Chocolate Visit Hollenbeck Skate Plaza

Thrasher Magazine’s latest Skatepark-Roundup segment features the Girl and Chocolate teams at the Hollenbeck skate plaza in Boyle Heights, CA.

The Hollenbeck skate plaza is the latest “Safe Spot Skate Spot” built and designed by California Skateparks with the help of Rob Dyrdek and the City of Los Angeles.

Rob Dyrdek and Joe Ciaglia got up bright and early yesterday (Dec 17th) to talk with Ally McKay about the grand opening of the Hollenbeck Safe Spot Skate Spot live on KTLA news.  California Skateparks designed and built  the concrete skate plaza with Rob and the City of Los Angeles which was integrated into the overall renovation of Hollenbeck Park. California skateparks is a skatepark designer firm and builder of concrete skateparks

Rob Dyrdek’s Safe Spot Skate Spot Opening 12/17

Join Rob Dyrdek and Los Angeles councilman Jose Hizar tomorrow, December 17th at the opening of the new skate plaza at Hollenbeck Park in Boyle Heights, CA. California Skateparks worked with Rob and the City of Los Angeles to create this new “Safe Spot Skate Spot” skating area.

The 14,000 square-foot, tri-level street skating plaza, which is already considered one of the premier skate plazas in the entire nation, offers a picturesque view high on a hillside at the southeast corner of the park overlooking the lake.

The opening starts at 3:30pm at Hollenbeck Park in Boyle Heights – 415 Saint Louis Street (near Saint Louis and Sixth Street) Los Angeles, CA 90033 – Click here for map.
