It’s a tough job spreading skateparks around the world, but somebody’s gotta do it!
Some of the world’s top action sports athletes will be attending the grand opening of Woodward Beijing on May 15th. California Skateparks, in collaboration with pro skater Neal Hendrix, was the skatepark designer and builder behind the 32,000 square foot skate plaza included in the facility. The skateable terrain includes ledges, rails, hubbas, euro gaps, bank-to-bank kickers, granite manual pads, steep banks and more, making it a plaza appropriate for camp beginners and visiting pros.
Included in those traveling to China for the event are Tony Hawk, Ryan Sheckler, Sandro Dias, Neal Hendrix, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Dan Murphy, Zered Bassett, Joey Brezinski, Ryan Decenzo, Juergen Horwarth, Curren Caples, Brandon Biebel, Renton Millar, David Loy, Jaws, Andrew Cannon, Jimmy Carlin, Tom Asta, Chase Hawk, Chase Dehart, Dakota Roche and Olympic gymnast and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Shawn Johnson.
